Welcome to the africainfo.hu portal. www.africainfo.hu is a non-profit, non-partisan and non-political web-site which bridges the gap between Hungary and Central Europe and Africa by providing and sharing information and news on activities concerning Africa in Hungary and region and in Africa to both Hungarians and those in Afric. We hope the site will become a focal point for information on Africa, linking together many of the different activities already going on in Hungary and Central Europe.
To begin with we will concentrate on development and trade, democracy and the rule of law; and security in Africa. In the longer term we intend that this site will grow into a more comprehensive African Information Centre, which would:
We are already developing a comprehensive network of linked sites - but there is clearly much more we can still do. I would be most grateful for suggestions you might have as to material or links to further websites you think we should include.
